Sur named Assistant City Manager 🆕

On Tuesday, Sep 23 the city appointed Marissa Sur as Assistant City Manager.

She, along with current City Manager Travis Hopkins, manage 12 departments and ~1,500 employees in local government (LINK)

Air Show to include helicopter transport 🚁

This year’s Pacific Air Show, set for Oct 3-5, will provide a helicopter service for attendees who want to avoid traffic.

Flights will leave from LGB and SNA airports, landing in a parking lot near the Air Show after a 10-minute ride (LINK)

Surfers’ Hall of Fame honors Aipa 🌊

Last week, hundreds gathered to celebrate the life of Kolby Aipa, as he was posthumously inducted into the Surfers’ Hall of Fame (LINK)
