A few highlights from Tuesday’s meeting:

  1. Passed resolution formally stating that “the library will not be sold and books will not be banned“. June 10 is the last day to vote on Measures A and B (LINK)

  2. Formed an ad hoc committee for City Treasurer selection with the current City Treasurer, Alisa Backstrom, set to retire July 1 (4:06:40 - 4:08:03)

  3. Approved the ‘25-26 budget, with funding for a new administrative fire captain position and more comprehensive city ambulance service, while tapping into financial reserves to address the projected $3.9M deficit (LINK)
