City Council meeting recap ⚖️ 

A few items from Tuesday’s session…

Kolby Aipa Day: unanimously approved a resolution making September 18 an annual city holiday in honor of Kolby Aipa, the late HBHS grad (35:37 - 51:21)

Surfing Museum relocation: discussed potentially moving the International Surfing Museum into unused space at the Main Street Library. The proposed move and improvements would likely be funded by VHB, not the city (1:46:17 - 2:04:06)

This was the final City Council meeting of 2025. Their next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 6.
