City Council meeting recap ⚖️

After a spirited public comments section of Tuesday’s meeting, here’s what City Council decided on:

  • approved a three-year lifeguard tower advertising program in partnership with a pair of local businesses (3:45:39 - 3:49:00)

  • amended the Group Homes Ordinance, putting stricter rules in place for problematic sober living homes (4:09:56 - 4:13:02)

  • moved to file complaints about possible FPPC/IRS violations by Friends of the Huntington Beach Public Library and Our Library Matters (LINK)
